DRIE-SWO 2019 Fall Symposium and AGM
Your DRIE-SWO chapter will hold it's annual Fall Symposium and Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Communitech, 151 Charles Street W #100, Kitchener, Ontario.
The day begins at 8:30 am with registration / check-in and a light continental breakfast with the Annual General meeting starting at 9:00 am sharp. The theme of this fall's symposium is "How to Develop a Powerful Crisis Management Program".
Our Keynote Presentation will be led by Regina Phelps, President and founder of Emergency Management & Safety Solutions Inc. in San Francisco, California. Regina is an internationally-recognized expert in the field of crisis management, exercise design, business continuity and pandemic planning. Since 1982, she has provided consultation and speaking services to clients on four continents. She will lead us in a workshop on effective crisis management. For those that know Regina, you know this will be an excellent session!
In addition, we are pleased to welcome Eve-Marie Cormier, MBCI, SCRA,PMP, who will be speaking on Fusion Centers, the integration of physical security, business continuity, disaster recovery and cybersecurity response programs for the creation of a resilient organization.
